Richard Stoelzel serves as Artistic and Music Director of The Florida Philharmonic, bringing a distinguished career as both a conductor and trumpeter to the podium.
He has most recently conducted the Syracuse Orchestra in New York, adding to a career built across concert halls throughout the country. Under his direction, The Florida Philharmonic continues to bring world-class classical music to Southwest Florida.
Ming Gao serves as Concertmaster of The Florida Philharmonic and Associate Concertmaster of the Naples Philharmonic, bringing an international performance and leadership background to the stage.
He has held past concertmaster posts with the Eastman Philharmonia and the Nanjing Experimental Orchestra, with performance credits alongside ensembles including the Pittsburgh Opera and Ballet Orchestras. Ming is also an active soloist and serves as adjunct violin professor at Florida Gulf Coast University.
